Instead of referring to one specific conversation that my mentor and I had, I want to mention several different aspects and highlights of the previous conversations or the such. One of these random moments of encouragement was actually a care package. I received in the mail a box containing homemade pumpkin chocolate chip muffins (to die for), sour cherry drops, beef jerky, and some other things. This act of kindness and generosity is extremely encouraging for me. It reminds me that someone is thinking of me and cares for me. Further this can be applied to how often God is thinking about me, which is constantly (at least I hope so)!
Another aspect of a conversation came about when we were discussing a 3 or 4 year plan for college. While it would be possible to graduate in 3, I could do 4. This would allow me to take fewer classes, or at least more classes I enjoy, and possibly another major. All of these things are important to think about in the grand scheme of things.
