I was not able to meet with Jim this last session, so I ended up meeting with my cousin Tat Skirvin. Tat is the Vice President of Corporate Finance at Arthur J. Gallagher. In our meeting we talked about life after college, the possibility of working for him, and how school is going. He encouraged me to continue to work my hardest in school because all of the hard work will prepare me for my career. He then provided me with the opportunity to work for Gallagher and their internship program. Gallagher brings in almost 600 interns every single summer to provide them the experience of getting real world work experience. I will be working with Gallagher's marketing team this summer and I am excited to get started.

Carson, I think that its super cool that you have the ability to have so many different people speek into your life. Its also really awesoem that one of those people is your cousin. Also Tat is a sweet name and you definately should go work for him.
ReplyDeleteIt is awesome that you have a cousin working to the company we presented on. It is even better that he is in such a great company as Gallagher. It is also really cool that you have a cousin that you can look to as a mentor.
