I talked with my mentor about my summer plans. This summer I will be working at Honey Rock doing the SLS program. I am looking forward to spending time outdoors, and time alone in God's creation just allowing time to get to know God more. I’m really looking forward to the opportunity be leading kiddos helping leading them on their spiritual journey. Talking to my mentor, he warned me not to set to many expectations for my experience this summer. Yes I will grow and this experience will help better me and prepare me for the future, but I shouldn’t set my expectations too high, rather I should just go in with an open mind willing and ready to learn.
